About

I am a passionate teacher and researcher working as an assistant professor and research faculty at the Department of Biotechnology, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. My research interests lie in the interface of biology & engineering and are aimed at developing solutions for green and sustainable solutions for better health and the environment. My research focused majorly on the development of various materials for the treatment of organic and inorganic pollutants from water and wastewater.  My research group also works on exploring medical plants, prebiotics and probiotics for the amelioration of various diseases. Recently I have initiated studies on understanding the practices of zero budget natural farming & organic farming and validating their potentials through scientific approaches.
